The freezer bowl must be completely frozen before use, which can take between 16 and 24 hours depending on your freezer's temperature. Be sure to place the bowl in the back of the freezer, where it's the coldest, and in an upright position for even freezing. Shake the bowl to check if the liquid inside is completely frozen.
For the most convenient frozen desserts and drinks, it's recommended to leave the freezer bowl in the freezer at all times. Use the bowl immediately after removing it from the freezer, as it will begin to defrost quickly. Reminder: Your freezer should be set to 0°F to ensure proper freezing of all foods.
Ingredients such as chips and nuts should be added about 5 minutes before the recipe is complete, once the dessert has started to thicken. The large spout on the easy-lock transparent lid makes adding these ingredients simple and mess-free.
